Oh, thanks for that excellent segue; your thought of black velvet paintings (you could just steal Jill's, you know) has reminded me of something that I want to get your opinion on.

So how many of Grampa's paintings do you think were saved from Apex before they were shot by a Certain Cousin What Must Not Be Named? I want to talk to dear Mama and Papa about this, but it would be killer if they could bring some back when they head out to the reunion. Also: it would be killer if we actually knew what some of them looked like.

I haven't a clue. And I didn't know that they were shot at! Sketchy. I will ask the parental units, though, and get back to you!

To be honest, I made that "shooting at art" stuff up, but I wouldn't put it past them, y'know? Bunch of savages.

All the paintings were removed when G&G moved into town. They are all in the upstairs studio on 3rd St. I should see if Dick has catalogued them on digital pics. If not, I should try to do that when we are home in Aug. The I can send you the pics so you can choose one. Or, I will see what Grannie recommends.

The "savages" did shoot lots of other things-cars, buildings, (including some at Uncle Ray's house)They prolly weren't sober enough to actually hit any wildlife!
