I often work up character sheets for my characters because I tend to work on more than one thing at once and it helps me to keep the details straight. I actually had these ones lying around for a couple years as I kept back burnering the idea. But since I'm bringing this out for this year's nano, I blew the dust off of them and revamped them a bit

Those are great--make me want to read more. I wonder where you'll take that relationship, with its horrible beginning. They are fascinating characters, though.

However, I recently did that with something I was contemplating writing and realized by the time I was done that I really didn't like the characters well enough to write about them. Better than figuring it out halfway into a novel, I guess.

Thanks so much. Yes, where to take this will be difficult because they are on such uneven footing even without it being known what the Toys really are. I think at the end of the day this is not going to be branded (at least by me) as a romance. It's SF with a romantic subplot at best.

Yes that is better that way. It's hard to maintain a story if you don't like the characters

I kinda remember reading something with them 9in it before. It's nice to see more of their backgrounds. Can't wait to see what you'll do with them! :D
