So, obviously we never...
made it to CA to get married, the judges ruled against decency and what's right. (Ok, ok, I understand the ruling, doesnt mean I have to agree with it.) Sooo looks like we're probably heading to CT to get married, aiming for the bottom of the state, and then to NY afterwords, Jerrys never been before so that's the plan. -
AT&T Laying off...
And of course, being an employee, I have to be stupid careful what I say. Was all concerned today when I heard the news about laying off around 12,000 people. (Sorry, not fair to those who're losing they're jobs to abbreviate that horrible number.) So, had a great turkey day....
We had a good turkey day. We had it at home with just the three of us. Jerry and I cooked dinner together, which was great. He wokred the bird, I worked my sweet potatoe souffle. I do want to make sure I post something about this. I had thoroughly intended to be married by the anniv. date of my and Jerrys 5 years. Sadly, as many know, his father died last year, and the REST of the family was supposed to have helped pay for the funeral. So, I FINALLY after all this time, got to meet Ty's "new" (ok, I've been outta the pic for a while, they've been togehter for quite some time at this point, but since I havent met him till lsat night, I get to call him "new". :) Hmf.) partner. Course by now, you probably all think I'm dead. Have just been super busy and getting settled in here in Hotlanta! Jerry is finally liking the city, and his folks recently moved down here. Will try and get on later to post more, posting this on my blackbery, and its a LOT of typing.

Ok, so maybe escapes a little dramatic. :) We're heading out today to what'll HOPEFULLY be our new home, we're going to Hotlanta, and then south to speand some time with my family. OK, so the trip to TX was a little frustrating, we decided to get CB radios for both cars so we could communicate more easily after the little handheld walkie talkie types died and we didnt burn up my battery just to chat.
