Had a restless night so got up late and took carriage to Museo Borbonico where is a wonderful collection of statues, bronzes, pictures etc., re the Toro Farnese found at Rome and the Hercules are the finest examples I ever saw. The remains found at Pompeii are remarkable and embrace every kind of machine and instrument in daily use. The collection
