Thursday Thoughts
It's rainy out and I have a headache, which is strange because I almost never have headaches. I think it's stress. The reality of the sheer volume of work I'm going to have to do beginning in January has finally hit home. Although I didn't have a meltdown at work, I came pretty damned close. Got the MiL moved into a senior apartment facility which is both good and bad. Good, because it's 10 minutes away rather than 45 minutes away. Bad, because she lived in her house 40 years and acquired 40 years worth of crap AND now that she's in a new place, she's confused about how to do things like turn on the shower or use the microwave. Tuesday Thoughts
The trip to Seattle/Woodinville/Walla Walla was amazing. Nothing bad happened, no rental car fiascos or airplane shenanigans or irritating people in tasting rooms. It was lovely. Saturday Stuff
Well, we solved the mystery of the extra limbs being cut down from my parents' trees in the front yard. I honestly thought Mom was having an alzheimer moment when she called me a couple of weeks ago and told me someone had been in her yard, cutting tree limbs off of the front row of trees while she was out shopping.
