I have procured an 'AIM screen name'. it seems to be a very common form of communication on the internet. already I have spoken with many people who frequent the Wormhole X-treme forums. it has been most enlightening. I now understand what :) is supposed to represent.

I was most pleased to find that my first season DVD set of Wormhole X-Treme arrived today. The first seaseon starts off fairly slow, but I believe the actors find their characters midway through and the show becomes quite good around episode 11.
