Summary: After finding out that Sam said yes to Lucifer, Dean is surprised by the appearance of Castiel and is even more shocked by the angel's revelation: he has chosen to stay on Earth with Dean rather than return to heaven. Resolved to survive the apocalypse together, they settle into life at Camp Chitaqua. However, as they find themselves irreparably changed by their time at the camp, Dean and Cas struggle to reconcile their unspoken love with the resentments that have begun to fester in the growing distance between them.
Artist's Notes: I have an irrational love for end!verse, so this fic was practically cut out for me - and I had so much fun reading it! Seriously, I couldn't put it down. It's harsh and it's brutal, so I tried to keep the art without unnecessary flourishes, as well. You've already seen the banner, so here's the cover I drew:
Is it strange that I'd never drawn Dean before? XD I had fun with the portraits. It's what I am comfortable with, but also what I try to challenge myself with the most, hence the banner being in a fairly strict colour palette! I like how it all came together!
