Summary: "Most would say the Second Revolution started with the efforts of our fearless leaders. Others would say it was a combination of many factors, or destined to happen from the very beginning. Those people were not entirely wrong, but for the few that knew the truth, the catalyst for biggest revolution in the history of mankind started with an ordinary man on an ordinary day."
When Castiel traded places with his sister to save her life, he thought he would be a prisoner the rest of his life. Then entered Dean Winchester, who gave Castiel his freedom...
Artist Notes: I think this was the first time I participated as an artist in a challenge doing art for a story written by someone else, and I had so much fun! The summary immediately jumped out to me, plus I have a thing for future/dystopia fics. I was glad to get the chance to do something for this fic! Seriously, go read the story! The world-building is fabulous!
Anyways, slight spoilers in the art, but nothing massive - please enjoy!
I really challenged myself with this one - I normally draw portraits, so the sunset alone was quite a change! (Not to speak of the full-body drawings.) I like the mood, though, and it is a key scene! It's the first thing I drew, and I immediately knew that I had to at least try when I'd finished the fic - so yeah, quite happy with it!
In keeping with topic of stars/constellations, I then put together the banner and the set of 4 dividers. I'm still surprised how lovely dividers look! I can't even remember now how I did it!
There you go, that's it from me. The art will be made rebloggable on tumblr, too, as soon as the masterpost goes up, so don't repost!
Thanks for taking a look and I hope you like it, and please give
marastories much love for her fic, also! Can't wait to go read it again!
