Thursday I hung out with friends, then Friday evening I went to the lake for a slumber party and the girls' game. We left Denton around 7pm after a quick stop at the grocery store for supplies. I spent a wonderful hour and a half chatting with Anne and finari on our drive.

Hey sisterchick,

Unless you just WANT a new commode, if it is leaking through then you can probably just replace the flushvalve, flapper and handle (15 bucks or so) it pretty rare that the fixture is leaking unless it's cracked. If the A/C is leaking water then it sounds like it is just condensation from the evap coil or drain pan and should not require you replacing the A/C (or much of anything).

Actually, the toilet problem is a little more serious than previously explained.... There's a hairline crack in the reservoir from the bottom all the way up to the handle, which led us to turning the actual water flow off when the toilet was not in use. At some point, the water flow thingy started leaking when it was turned off, so we started leaving the water running on purpose.

Um, yeah. And all those are technical terms, just so we're clear.

I'll tell Matt your suggestion about the A/C. Thanks! :D

SUck....yup you are hosed on the potty, you can't buy replacement tanks.

Yeah, heh. I got the utility bill and saw how much it went up because of the toilet, so Matt went to Lowe's after he dropped his mom off and bought a new one and set up to have it installed. Whee!

Should have done it earlier, I suppose, but we were being lazy. Whoops.
