Roxy and Riley

Just took Riley to the vet to get his teeth checked. I'd noticed he wasn't eating much of his dry food and only licking the canned stuff. He has bad breath, too. Dr. T said he has gingivitis and gave him some painkillers and an antibiotic to make him happy again. He was only happy to come home! He's now lying on his back in front of the fireplace,

Poor Riley, a visit to the vet is never very nice. Like the Purr-el nickname! :)

He was a good boy, though. And Dr. T called him "pretty" several times. The assistant kept calling him "beautiful" and "cute". Riley seems to like being told he's good looking. *g*

Ms. Purr-el hates it there. Might have to ask the vet to come here to see her. It worked once at the old house...

Dr. T didn't mention it. There isn't much scaling on his teeth,if I understand correctly what she meant by that. Just a wee bit in the back.
