Thanks to a made for Sci-fi channel movie, I now know I have been pronouncing Wyvern incorrectly

Bah ha ha, I had the same thought - here, I've been pronouncing it "wuh-VERN". Silly me.

Next we'll hear that it's supposed to be pronounced "druh-GUN" and "Mer-lih" (the 'n', of course, is silent.)

I had partially wondered if they had just filmed it in the deep, deep South.
