Synopses thingies are hard to write. I've had to do it for FaLLEN and it's a pain. I usually have something like "An atypical magical girls story where all the heroines want are their names" or whatever, but I don't think it's a very good summary. It's hard to make it interesting without giving anything away... I hate movies that give too much away in the description, too ( ... )

Hah, I wouldn't have thought it was hard for FaLLEN -- mainly because it's one of the synopses where there's little info on the comic itself (eg the characters themselves or whatnot) but the concept is interesting that it deserves to be given a chance, even if someone doesn't end up liking it in the end.

Hahahaha, no, no not yet at least. I'm just preparing myself mentally for the day it comes. Once one fellow comic artist in a critique told me it really didn't make much of a difference whether I had said it was in Japan outright or not, because she thought it was in California or the characters sounded Californian, if I remember right. I've never been to Cali and I slightly felt awkward with a dash of annoyed reading that sentence in what was a pretty good critique. I mean, I got what she was saying and it was a valid point but at the same time...Californian? (maybe it's those damn Hollywood movies [/sarcasm] *shakes fist ( ... )
