To the Air Force "Man" in the big, black Tahoe who tried to run me off the road because of your lack of basic comprehension in the field of appropriately and legally merging your motor vehicle

I have been known, when a merging driver matches my speed, to lean on the horn and force them to come to a complete stop rather than try to move over when there are too many cars to my left. If he bought that vehicle to compensate for something then the LAST thing he'd want is to damage it. You should have held your ground. It's up to the merging driver to speed up or slow down!
We were stopped at a red light. The light turned green. He tried to muscle me over. I laid on the horn. He continued to come over. I moved forward to block him. He continued to come forward. At the point his tire was about to crush my fender, it was obvious, he bought his big car to run over little cars. I was holding my ground-- had he come all the way over, though, it would have been my car and not his that would have suffered damage. I just didn't have the monies to deal with that. Ultimately, if I had a beater car and the bankroll to pay for higher insurance, it would have been a bigger battle of wills... culminating in a police report.
I'm not disappointed with how things turned out. I'm just pissed that guy had to be such a dick.
Yeah, it sounds like he was willing to crunch your car. :( I don't know why anyone has to be that way......I suppose it's POSSIBLE that he was just such a huge idiot that he didn't see you, but that seems rather unlikely, since you were on the horn. *shakes head* No accounting for some folks.
