+++ Smallville...just...GAH. I &hearts Lois. And the fact that she and Clark are always butting heads makes me love them even more. And I would like to state for the record that I may have finally fallen in love with Jensen Ackles, but not because of Dean. I don't like Dean. I may have fallen in love with him because of Jason. I SWEAR he ( Read more... )

Erica is a great Lois but I was kinda over the show by that point so I wasn't watching regularly.

You don't like Dean? [sniffs] He's my favorite but my Castiel love might have eclipsed him. I first loved Jensen Ackles as Alec on Dark Angel which is the only reason I ended up watching Supernatural to begin with even though I don't like horror.

Good luck with the potty training!

See, I honestly thought so too. But she was so snarky, it was like a sigh of relief for me because the show got FUNNY again.

Not even. I'm a Sam girl. I have mixed issues with Supernatural that not a lot of people get. For example, I think the show jumped the shark once Dean went to hell. It was fun before they brought in all the religious stuff, but that's just my opinion. Regarding Dean, I'm in love with Sam (at least, pre-season four Sam) and I got sick and a little disgusted with the whole Dean's-gotta-sleep-with-EVERYONE crap. He's funny, for sure, but it got old really quick.

Thanks hon! *hugs*

It's different when you're trying to watch things week-to-week and over years. Unsure of what's to come and whether or not it will be worthwhile. It's nice sometimes to come late to the party so you can enjoy it like a big feast.

I love both the brothers, just Dean a little more. I stopped watching the episode before the end of S3 because I was dreading the Dean-goes-to-hell conclusion. It wasn't until about halfway through S4 that my flist was squeeing themselves silly with delight that I picked up where I left off and ended up loving S4. I'm not sure if I would have loved it if I hadn't taken the break and then watched a ton of episodes together so it was not frustrating to wonder where they were going with the story. S4 is actually one of my favorite seasons. Pretty much the entire show is based on multiple religions/cults so I don't see a big difference in S4. But even in the early seasons some of my favorite dealt with faith.

I got sick and a little disgusted with the whole Dean's-gotta-sleep-with-EVERYONE crap. UGH! I HATE ( ... )

Agreed. :) I made a deal with myself that I wouldn't even begin Smallville till it was completely finished.

See, I may do with Supernatural what I've done with Smallville. I KNOW I can't just pick up because after Dean went to hell, I got TOTALLY lost and lost my fangirlishness. I might start it all over again after Smallville. Hmmm.

THANK YOU! FINALLY! Someone else who gets that!

As long as you don't give me a very fast-approaching deadline, I'll do it gladly. I haven't read any fic in what feels like months and I could really use the piece and quiet :)
Plus I really miss the boys :D

I don't think there's any hurry. She asked for handwritten fics so I sytill have to take time to write them out once they're done. Problem is I.just.can't.WRITE them! ARGH!

Maybe it's the switching back and forth between glasses and no glasses that gives you a headache. I always try to use my glasses and contacts equally throughout the week because if I wear one more than the other I get a headache wearing whichever has been worn less. (That made no sense, I'm sorry!) I think it's because I'm working to see things differently.

Well, you know what's interesting is that I put on the glasses last night while watching Smallville on the TV (which I always turn on the captions) and I noticed that watching the people and then reading the captions was...WEIRD. It was like it worked just fine for the text, but when I looked at the picture, my eyes felt weird. *headdesk* I dunno. Maybe I should just ditch the glasses entirely. I'm starting to think they're not as necessary as I think they are.

I hate to say it hun, but if you're wearing the glasses and it helps with the text, and then when you take them off you get a headache, it might mean you need glasses full time. I usually get headaches when my eyes need to adjust to a new prescription, which is essentially the same as you going from wearing glasses to not.

Ugh, good luck with the potty training.

See, I don't know. General around the house stuff is not an issue. But the computer screen bugs me. Even reading a BOOK isn't a problem. Maybe it's just the screen...?

It's not going well. *shakes head* PATIENCE, Meg, PATIENCE.

Hmmm... that's weird. Maybe you just don't notice it around the house? However, you could probably figure out if it is just the screen.

Take a book that you can read perfectly fine and make a note of the text size and distance you hold it while you read. Then use your computer to recreate the same font size (just use a word doc or something) and try to read it from the same distance. If you can read the book, but can't read the screen it's obviously something going on with the screen. But if you find that adjusting your position relative to the screen, to match the same distance of the book fixes things, it's probably something with your eyes.

Sorry if that's complicated. Lol. It won't fix any problems, but it should let you at least figure out what's going on...

Yup. It's the computer screen.

That actually makes sense, what with TVs going all weird on us now.
