How big was Argent? Rachel's 14.3 at best, so that mare was a giant to me. Her head was longer than my torso.
I appreciate draft horses a lot more now than I did when I was young. *covers Rachel's ears* They are awesome, and I love the action of the Clydesdales. I tried to get Mom to go look at a pinto Shire last time we were searching for a horse, but she didn't want to have to feed a horse that big. Plus, I don't think he'd fit in our barn.
If I ever get my own farm, I might try farming with good old horsepower. I was told by some Amish people and old timers that horses are still faster and more precise, and you can't teach a tractor not to step on your crops.
