I was in England when this event occurred. Now I am at the coven house owned by Armand. I don't know where Lestat is as he is yet to tell me, but I am speaking with him presently.

Well honestly what did anyone expect? Lestat is well known for having a very destructive temper, dude shouldn't have taunted him. If ya going to poke the tiger in his den expect the tiger to tear you to shreds. Just saying..

I know his temper well enough, but a mortal taunting him means nothing. He's been completely unable to explain his recent actions against these individuals despite our many conversations about it.

It's a puzzling thing isn't it? I mean puzzling in the sense that it is completely not like him to do something like this. Not in the sense that he was never capable of it and then suddenly is capable.

Indeed. He is capable of great acts of cruelty and violence, but they are always with some cause or purpose. This simply makes no sense to me.

He has still been unable to explain himself, even after the second attack. I would feel a little better about this if I could see him or if I even knew where he is.

Are my feelings for Lexia so obvious?

I'm scared for him and people who might be around him. I'm upset this happened, and so publicly too. I don't know too much about those involved, but from some of the words people are using, they sounded too young to go. And the witnesses.... They might never get over seeing something so awful.

It's clear there's something there for her and it's reciprocated, though I don't speculate on the depth these feelings might have. My days of matchmaking, picking, and prodding for info are long over. I just hope that whatever you two have makes you both happy and is healthy; whether you are just very close friends or actually in a relationship.

I worry for him too, chérie. However, I do feel somewhat better about all of this now that he is here with me. I have not left his side since his return.

As for Lexia, yes there are feelings there. I cannot deny that. However, I also can't explain or understand them. I should know better than to get too close to someone like her. It can never he a healthy situation.

He seems perfectly fine when we speak. A little confused and unable to explain his own actions, but otherwise, he tells me that nothing is wrong. I just want to see him so we might talk in person.
