I'm really enjoying my summer off.  There's just one thing.... I'm in my last week of classes.  I messed up.  I was supposed to submit this group paper before Sunday at midnight.  I thought I had and I found out last night after looking again that I had not.  So, I submitted the paper one day and eighteen hours late.  Which is why I'm up.  I have to be in class in six hours and I woke up to a storm, an actual ( Read more... )

I've had a good break.  Most of the time, people say that any break they get isn't long enough but mine was just long enough.  I'm ready to start back if for nothing else but sheer boredom.  I wouldn't refuse more time off but it is what it is.  I've read a few books, watched a lot of television and a few movies.  Last night, I saw The Italian Job ( Read more... )

Over the recent weeks, there has been a strange thing happening.  Cats.  There have been three different cats to show up on three different occasions.  I try not to be too superstitious about things that happen in my life.  My mom  has always been somewhat superstitious.  She puts up horseshoes over the door of her home in the shape of a U for luck ( Read more... )

I thought I would have a lot to talk about over the summer but now, my summer has come and gone.  I start school in a week.  I'm looking forward to it in some ways but in others, I wish I had a little more time.  I don't think I'll be doing a summer semester next year.  I guess it depends, though.  It depends on how many classes I have left ( Read more... )

I signed up for my second fall semester today.  It's actually only my second semester in the program I'm in.  I finished my mid-term exam today, also.  I got a B.  I'm not happy about it, though.  I had full use of the book during the exam and a week to complete it.  I only missed eight.  Anyway, I'm hopeful for the rest of the semester.  I've only ( Read more... )

Today is my last day of the semester.  I've found out two of my grades but I won't post about that until I get all four final grades.  This semester has been a tough one but I really enjoyed it.  I thought the last semester of medical assisting was really tough, and it was but it was tough and I hated it.  That makes a big difference.  Now, I feel ( Read more... )
