This was a gripping read. It was dark in places, but it also had a lot of wonderful Sage n' Dean, and Sam/Dean moments. I love how Dean's need for family was explored here, as well as Sam's need for Dean and his jealousy. 'Cos I agree, Sam has been Dean's world for so long that he would have trouble seeing someone else being just as important. But he grew to love her too, of course he did. Now Dean has his family. Awwww
( ... )
Lol, yes, Dean has got his family now. It was one of the things I wanted to give him. Specially after all the hell I was going to put him through with the Necromancy and Clayton. Seemed he deserved a big enough pay out in the end. Make it all worth while.
But I'm glad you liked the story and the interactions between the characters. As for Ruby, I understand how some people don't really like her, though I am glad that Sage's ability see deeper or beyond the surface, reassured you enough to give a little trust to this version of Ruby.
thank you for the comment! I'm glad you liked it, and there is a plan in place to try and get another story or two written. Can't promise that they'll turn out, but I promise to try!
your storytelling is amazing. it keep me on edge and i can't stop once i've started! the villains are also super bad-ass and malicious. especially the human one. what a sicko!
i love every single word of this story. it come together vividly in images!
Oh, I really, really, REALLY enjoyed this! :) Great ending line. I love how Cas bookends the beginnings and ends of Dean's ordeal. Lovely! Thanks for sharing!
Castiel's circular involvement had been completely unintentional at first. At least until one of my friends asked me where Dean's necromancy left him in the eyes of god. And I just couldn't see Castiel saving Dean only to risk Dean going evil, you know?
That was really engaging and lol I had expected to hate the kid, but the relationship you devekoped between Sage and Dean was really Beautiful. Sammy's jelousy cracked me up, but I thought was very apt, he is a brat and needs to learn to share. I hope you make this into a verse,so lol, *fingers crossed*, looking forward to the next bit in this.
Ahh, the art of careful manipulation. There is a secret to getting people to enjoy a kid!fic. I'm really glad it worked with this one. And I'm even happier that you enjoyed the rest of the story as well!
Lol, I'm planning on writing more for this. Wasn't at first, but after all the comments before, and the I told you so from my cheerleader (who is made of awesome!) I figured, why fight it? So I'm playing around with a few ideas. Don't know that any of them will actually work out, but I promise to try!
