Thank you. I was sort of figuring out what to write, putting things in from here and there, so that's why it wasn't a bit longer. I'm glad someone liked it, I really appreciate your praise. I want to know Max's reaction too :)

I know, poor OB! I try not to make him a martyr, but I really do see him as sacrificing a lot for Max's well being. He will be finally clearing the air with Max in the next chapter.

I hope the humor stuff I put in there worked. I wasn't sure how Tony, Jacqui, etc. came across in the story.

Awww so lovely... is it wrong that I got a nice touch of JP/OB vibe going on there too... and that kiss at the end was adorable!

Thank you. I know the story isn't perfect, things were sort of thrown together, I hope some of the humor and different characters worked, it was hard figuring out how to write for them (Steph, Jacqqui, Tony).

It's interesting to hear you say there was a JP/OB vibe. I hadn't really planned that, I just wanted them to build a friendship, but I can see it. I think Max picks up on the same vibe.

I'm glad the part at the end was adorable. Praise is always nice to hear :)
