You didn't think it was gay enough?!erin_starlightDecember 9 2009, 23:34:52 UTC
The cover had Ted saying that they were going to be reunited in death. Ted laments on his loss of his good looks and at one point it reads as Teds' coming out to a distraught Booster.
I had the same problem with the dad moment. It wasn't needed and Daniel/Rose are still in the time lab. I hope that Booster at least gets some insight on how difficult the mission is for Rip too.
I believe Michelle is on her way to Coast City right when Cyborg Superman helps kill everyone. Right before Hal turned evil. What I want to know is if this Drew guy is her boyfriend or a ride she hitched.
I loved how Boosters' first thought was to try to save Ted again and Rips' like "haven't we gone over this?" "Not listening!" The major problem I have with Ted coming back IS Booster slipping back to his old role. I want them to develop separately before their together again. And where would Ted fit in anyway? I doubt Daniel wants another guy staying with him and I can see him driving Rip batty.
Flipped through WW. Almost got it because of Maxs' humor.
...okay, lemme rephrase that. XD Booster wasn't gay enough. Or, at least, he didn't really show the love for Ted that he's shown when he's thought about/talked about him before. I didn't even catch the coming-out metaphor when I read it--interesting. X3 Though that could just be a "LOOK HE'S AN EVIL DEPRAVED BISEXUAL" thing.
I don't think Booster's gonna realize Rip has feelings too until something snaps. And there are so many interesting possibilities to that...
Heh, yes. I think they could pull off Ted coming back without making them nothing more than pranksters extraordinaire, though. Giffen and DeMatteis aren't writing them (much as I love them), and both Ted and Booster have had a lot of development apart from each other. I'm not sure where he would fit in, either, though. But him driving Rip insane would be hilarious.
Zombie Max is fantastic, as is Greg Rucka. I'd recommend it, and I've read almost no Wonder Woman.
I don't think Booster's gonna realize Rip has feelings too until something snaps. :( On the other hand, every time I see Rip smile and go "...dad", I realize he's probably going to put up with a lot more of Booster's bullshit than we, the readers, can possibly stand.
And there are so many interesting possibilities to that... I've been on the internet too long, that makes my brain do terrible things ><;
