I thought the Jack/Ianto kiss was really sweet and familiar. It looked like one of those kisses couples have, one of those “hello, I’ve missed you” kisses. Makes me think they might have had some sort of relationship or close friendship before Cyberwoman.

I really didn’t understand Gwen kissing Jack back to life. Not only is it cliché but it doesn’t make any sense. Okay she believed he would wake up while everyone else was crying into Jack’s coat and stuff but still … couldn’t he have just woken up randomly?

This has to be the most coherent I’ve been after Torchwood O_o

My thoughts exactly. It was...comfortable. I quite like them being comfortable. Oh, I'm so going to watch it again tomorrow when I'm meant to be studying! (*sigh* Wrong kind of anatomy)

I think it fits them as a couple. They were very "old married couple" the last two episodes so it makes sense that they had a somewhat sweet kiss rather than a passionate one. Not that I'd say no to seeing that or anything ...

I'll wait until my Swedish friend gets to watch it so I can have mad fangirl squees with her.

Okay the way I read this is that she's finally giving up that it's a kiss goodbye and not a reviving kis it's just at that point he decides to revive... but the Jack Inato stuff was just made of win I loved every single solitary minute of it.

I loved this episode so much, although I totally agree that some parts were somewhat daft

Another Buffy monster, but the rest of the episode totally made up for it. Kinda cool that it was defeated by the Time Vortex though.

Janto is probably quite a lot one-sided. But the Doctor is going to leave again, hopefully with an explanation this time (and we won't have to wait long to see that), and then Jack can move on.

I think a lot of Jack's 'Doctor issues' stem from his 'abandonment issues'.

I do not get Gwen kissing Jack. Probably to keep the Jack/Gwen shippers happy?

One or two problems with that, but overall.. that's the only programme that's made me cry! PERFECTO!

I love the fact that the Doctor made an 'appearence' at the end, but I'm insanely frustrated by the fact that once again, they've left us hanging with the whole Jack and Ianto thing. Jack seems pretty obsessed with the Doctor, which would be a great storyline, if I weren't batting for Janto...

And the Harknesses were awesome together. Way to leave someone traumatised before an exam...

In other news, Ianto is an agent of some sort... in my humble opinion.

If Ianto finds out a) where Jack's gone b) with whom and c) the significance of that, there may be Hell to pay next season.

Maybe Jack will work off his obsession when he travels with the Doctor again? That’s what I’m hoping anyway.

I could easily believe Ianto is some sort of specially trained agent … person. I’d love it if he were a Time Agent keeping an eye on Jack to make sure he never remembers what they erased from his memories … someone write a fic please?

Oh my goodness, that would be such a great plot! He would be a great Time Agent (and was realyl quite dashing in his waistcoat and purple shirt outfit...mmm...)

I really want to watch it all again now.
