Somewhat, although that is sort of ruined by the fact that Duckie gets screwed over in the end. I still haven't gotten over the shit ending.

Everyone hates Blaine. I think John Hughes somehow tried to make up for the shit ending in Pretty in Pink by letting Eric Stoltz end up with his best friend in Some Kind of Wonderful. But that movie was never good enough, so it comes no where close to curing my sorrow.
