This was so sweet, I can't help but wish you'd made the last scene a little longer. It's just like Merlin to not be in love with Arthur and not know it, and that middle bit there was the strongest bit of the fic by far--exquisite, really, the way you described it was so beautiful it made me hurt a little bit.

I was actually reluctant to end it there too: I dig elaboration. But it's like the music was cued and they were like fading to black. Which is just a massively unfair thing to happen in one's brain aka personal playground.
