Bob Marley in summer

Jun 12, 2011 00:19

God, it's been well over a year since my first DiTL. A lot has changed since then. I've traded Randolph-Macon in fair Virginia for the Big Apple and completed my first year of graduate school.

I present Friday, June 10th in 64 pictures. A day of dog-sitting, Cuban food eating, and subwaying with cameos from Ella and Abi.

HERP DERP

HERE IS YOUR PRESENT FOR YOUR B-RILLIANT DitL:

There is the full 30-minute video with like a quadrillion cameos, but this is the best part IMO

Not going to lie, I literally laughed out loud at this comment. God, why didn't you go to Macon when I did?

Awesome DiTL.

And I find it very fun that there are only like 4 of those album covers that I do not have in my own iTunes library.

And I heard you were more than fashionably late to the Derby Day, you nearly missed him. The important question remains though...was he wearing the chambray?

Thanks buddy!

Oh, what four albums? Wait. Let me guess! Childish Gambino (the one on the top right of the black and white grouping, and the one of the leaves). Animal Collective maybe (the one of the optical illusion)? And Bat for Lashes. No, wait! Freelance Whales?

And yeah, I was late. But, I had always planned on showing up at 2p. Had I known that Jake was planning on leaving early, I might have made my appearance a little sooner. The event started at 1p, I showed up around quarter after two and he was high-tailing it for a workshop in Jersey. I got to talk to him for point two seconds, but once Ella showed up we bounced. There were only like, 30 people there anyway.

Apparently he's going to be hosting events in July and August as well, and will be in a play on theater row in late November. So, always another opportunity to see J.Silbs. He was looking gorgeous though. But no chambray (sadface!). He was wearing this blue and white plaid button down. Very Noah Mayer.

You were right on your guesses on everything but Freelance Whales. Love them!

Yay for J. Silbs being in a show again. Hopefully people will be able to see it this time. lol.

Very sadface that he wasn't wearing the chambray, but I live in the belief that Mr. S totally stole half of Noah's shirts.

Umm...I love where you live. Those buildings look so freaking cool! I mean...the novelty of them must wear off eventually, but oh man GORGEOUS!

And that dog is so freaking precious.

That picture of you freshly showered is quite scandalous, Ms. Jackie!

I wish I would have known about the time pictures...or else I would have done them! Next time!

And awww! That picture of you and Ella in the hats are soooo presh! I seriously wish I was fashionable like the two of you!

And awww! ABI! HI! She's ADORABLE!

It looks like you did have a busy day! But it sounds like it was a good one! Thanks for introducing this to me, Jackie! It was a lot of fun...and we should definitely do more in the future! :D

I really do live in a castle/church. If you watch any Law and Order or Gossip Girl, you've probably seen it.

In New York it's imperative that you listen to music. And then try not to jam out/sing along/bop your head too enthusiastically whenever your favorite song comes on, lest you look like an idiot. That may or may not have happened to me several times.
