Thanks for the comments. I've never seen Spaced, so I wouldn't have that sense of deja-vu with some of the jokes, and I enjoyed Shaun, so I should like this, too. Most importantly, though, it's good to know about the gore. No-one else I've seen reviewing this film has been so specific about the violence, and, cheesy CGI or otherwise, it basically precludes taking along my somewhat sensitive girlfriend. :)

There's not a great deal of gore throughout, but there are two or three sections where it's fairly excessive.

I've not seen it yet, though I want to (no-one to go with!). However, one negative compared to Shaun of the Dead is that it doesn't have Dylan Moran.

Dylan Moran wasn't all that good in Shaun of the Dead, I thought.

I just see Bernard whenever I look at him, and his character in SotD...wasn't.
