*The masked man is crouched in the darkness of one of the rows of bookshelves. He's tranacribing the words on the floor into binary and scratching them into the shelves with a pocketknife.*

[For now, Patchouli is not paying attention. The masked man will begin to notice a pattern to the words and they seem to form a series of dialog between an unknown figure and Patchouli. The unknown person asks questions, and Patchouli answers. There are about ten questions.

Confusingly, with each repetition, there are minor but obvious changes.]

*He corrects the changes by x-ing out some of his zeros. He's running out of room to transcribe her words now. Idly he glances over at the flame errupting from one of the lamps and lets out a statiky growl*

[Patchouli does not seem to be swayed from her work. However, she does attempt to turn off the lamp that just sneezed at the ceiling.

...not that it works.] Well, then. I need to fix these or at least replace them.
