I was inspired by Mike Roffman to do this. So the year is in its latter half and by this time, I usually have a slew of albums and movies to choose from for my own unimportant top ten list. But this year is slim pickings. I've only heard five albums and seen five films that I'd put in my list thus far. For the film industry, there's still hope ( Read more... )

Oh yeah, I forgot about Thank You For Smoking and Hostel. I enjoyed both of those, especially Hostel. I still need to see Inside Man, Miami Vice and Idlewild.

Anyway, I'm giving Chicago a shot for at least two years, so I'll be there when you get back. Have fun in Tallahassee. I'll let you know when I visit.

Your uncle's Vince Papale? That's awesome. It's actually been getting pretty good reviews, so I was thinking of checking it out.

As far as Chicago goes, it's becoming the new New York. It's a great place for grads because it has a good job market and is not as intimidating as New York or LA, but still gives you that big city feel. What are you doing after graduation?

The only other good movie I can think of that came out this year was 'Hard Candy' although, once again, it was done in 2005.

Anyway, I just moved back into Tampa today but being that all the people I knew here are gone, expect me to be in NPR often so let me know whenever you guys are doing anything. See ya.

I checked for Hard Candy at Blockbuster the other day, but I couldn't find it. I'm not sure if it's out yet. I do want to see it though. I checked out the poster of the girl standing in as bait inside a giant bear trap and thought it was pretty powerful. Anyway, man, I'll be back Wednesday, so I'll see you guys then.

Oh yeah, I really do like Happy Hollow, but I've only heard three songs from it. I'll have to continue checking it out. As for Gainesville, maybe I can work something out. After all, NPR is only two hours apart.
