As for Yom Hashoah, I actually have no idea. --WAit! I think it got squeezed onto the Hebrew calendar, so Hitler's birthday doesn't have anything to do with it. Great irony, though.

Der Untergang was pretty excellent, as such things go. I would watch it again when I'm in the mood for that kind of depression.

I'm most likely never going to bother with Valkyrie, though, because I'm with the Germans on not letting members of dangerous cults into official installations. I'm also of the mind that the important thing to do with a film about the Nazi era is point out how scarily fucking appealing Hitler was. Pretending Hitler had no charisma is a disservice to history, and those who should be learning from it.
