Nana believes that it is illegal for married people to have different last names, according to the conversation I just had with mom.  The concept totally screws with her brain.  Apparently, she has very recently convinced herself that I hyphenate (I don't.) I don't know if I should be worried, or if she's just trying to out-stubborn me.

Yeah, really! ...Though I have to say that I'm fortunate: my mother is a drama queen, but she honestly means well. There are just times that I want to grab her by the shoulders and shake her 'til she gets whiplash. *smiles sweetly*

By-the-by, I've really been enjoying your photos, of late. =) I always like seeing your tattoo progress. -Hopefully I'll get an appointment to start my first (!) some time in the next ten years.

She was there for the ceremony but not much for the reception, I don't remember her there. Then again, in the words of one of my favorite professional political operatives "I'm just guessing, I [was] pretty drunk."

She SAID she was going to come to the reception, but then never did. Frankly, I was blown away that she showed up for the ceremony, so... meh.

Thanks for the advice =) Normally my Mom is okay, be every once in a while she really feels her inner drama queen. I think it has something to do with Holiday stress...
