Nana believes that it is illegal for married people to have different last names, according to the conversation I just had with mom. The concept totally screws with her brain. Apparently, she has very recently convinced herself that I hyphenate (I don't.) I don't know if I should be worried, or if she's just trying to out-stubborn me.
Oh, and Mom tried to make me feel guilty about her "not being allowed" to throw me a bridal shower.

SHE hates meeting new people because she thinks that all they'll think to themselves is "who's the fat lady?"
and her not giving me a bridal shower is MY fault?!
