You need to do what my grandfather used to do with the gophers in his field; he sat on his porch with a scoped .22 and casually blew them away as they popped up, one by one, while putting back a six-pack of Pabst. It was like a pasttime for him. Did the field a world of good too :)

If I could do that without the cops showing up, I so would. Hell, Josh's folks even have the perfect varmint-hunting rifle. --I think it's a .22, dunno about a scope, though.

If our landlord owned the house, we probably could. But they just manage it for the owner, and the owner says 2 pets max.
