Going to Madison this weekend
I am tabling for Chicago VeganMania at this weekend's MadCity Vegan Fest in Madison and am wondering if I should come up at a reasonable hour on Saturday and hang out, or get up really early on Sunday. If I come up on Saturday, I'll probably stay at the hostel since it's cheaper than a hotel. Anyone around? -
Can't keep up
So it's been almost 2 weeks since WisCon and I still haven't managed to write up con reports and follow along with folks I want to keep in touch with, so it's time to admit defeat and prune my list. If I unsubscribe to your journal, please don't take it personally. -
accidentall self-imposed hiatus

Conceding defeat over the internet
I have been very busy lately and have only manged to check my LJ and DW twice per week for the past month, and I think it's time I admit that I have a real job now, and the whole going in to the office thing is seriously interfering with my abiliity to be online all day. Hiatus for a day
So I've had a very busy couple of weeks lately, and when I woke up yesterday, my body and mind 'splayned to me that the day would be a withdrawing from the world kind of day. Knowing better than to argue, I turned off and tuned out, and spent a very pleasant, relaxing day eating and reading not one, but 2 books! It is amazing how quiet the world ( Read more... ) -
I got lost in my new life!

I started my new job 2 weeks ago and I love it! The people are nice and there is a ton of work that needs to be done, so I am quite busy. They are very grateful for all my ideas and suggestions, and seem quite ( Read more... ) -
New job, new (to me) car, new floor, new socks!
So it's all official now (actually, it has been since Monday, I've just been that busy!), and I can tell you about the exciting job news. I have accepted a part-time position with a congregation in the city as their Synagogue Administrator and will be starting next week. Quick update
I was out of town Friday-Sunday and was at a funeral and shiva all day yesterday, so I am just now catching up with my life.
In the process of catching up, I realize that a bunch of folks have switched to/are cross-posting between LJ and DW, so I am going to clean up my friends list so I don't have you down in both places.
