Talking to Peter still being played had made Max's call that much more real. Isabel returned to her room, made several phone calls, and then sat on her bed trying to figure out how to break the news.

"Or! Or, I could borrow your laptop and get us tickets to Budapest and we could hide there and you wouldn't have to go to Antar at all!" Greg suggested, grabbing her hands.

The words were there, Isabel just couldn't get them out over the lump in her throat. Instead she shook her head slowly.
