Had it been anyone but Isabel who had called, Savannah might have still been in hiding -- scared to leave her room. But this was Isabel and if she knew what was going on, there was no way Savannah couldn't help.

Besides, after what Wyatt had done to her, she needed to see for herself that her friend was all right.

Taking a deep breath, she knocked softly on the door.

Even though she doubted Wyatt would actually be nice enough to knock, Isabel still wasn't about to open the door to anyone. "Who is it?" she asked.

Prue headed upstairs to Isabel's room as soon as she got her message. Hopefully Isabel had better luck researching than she had.

Anders took a few minutes from roomie-tending to come upstairs and check on Isabel, having heard the radio broadcast last night.

"Son of a -- big sis, are you there? Are you okay?"

No, he wasn't going to start with just knocking on the door and asking if anyone was home, yet.

Isabel heard his voice and opened the door. "I'm okay," she promised immediately.

Anders pretty much barged through the door as soon as she opened it and glomphugged her as carefully as he could manage. "I thought you said no more close calls from here on out," he said, mild reproach mingling with just a hint of hysteria in his voice.

She sighed and returned the hug. When she'd talked to Anders yesterday she'd tried to white wash exactly how bad Wyatt was. She should have known Anders would find out the truth. Stupid radio.
