Prue headed upstairs to Isabel's room as soon as she got her message. Hopefully Isabel had better luck researching than she had.

She knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Isabel called through the door.

[witchy_prue]

"It's Prue."

[izzyalienqueen]

"Great," she said as she opened the door. "Savannah's here. She had a run in with Wyatt last night."

[witchy_prue]

Prue gave Savannah a concerned look. "Are you alright?"

Savannah liked Prue and knew that none of this could be easy on her, either.

"I will be," she promised.

"Yeah, after various asses are kicked," Isabel muttered.

"I was just telling Savannah, I think I know why this happened." And the why still made her boggle. "Would you believe me if I told you that Wyatt's teddy bear is evil?"

"After all I've seen? Yes," Prue said, reaching up to rub her forehead. She didn't even want to think about why Wyatt had a teddy bear in the first place.

Savannah groaned. "Of course. We're in Fandom, where even the teddy bears go evil."

Isabel glanced at her own alien bear, sitting on the foot of her bed. "I have to admit, it was a new one on me. But after Prue got me out of the basement, I ran into Anders. That's when I found out it wasn't just random Fandom weirdness. So I asked Bridge to check out Wyatt's room." And were they lucky he wasn't around, she realized.

"He said some demon with glowing eyes did something to the bear. Maybe a curse or something?" she asked, knowing that Savannah and Prue would be more familiar magical stuff then she was.

Prue nodded. "Demons can curse objects and that can affect the person who the object belongs to."

"Especially if it's something that could have an emotional attachment of some kind."

"It was his old teddy bear," Isabel nodded. "His Piper had taken it when she left. She just sent it back to him the other day."

"So now what do we do? I'd torch it but it threw up some sort of shield when Bridge went to touch. So I don't think it's going to be that simple."

"There's got to be a magical way to get through the shield," Prue said. If a demon was the one who cursed it then it probably wouldn't be invulnerable to magic. Few things were.

She was quiet for a long moment and then looked at Prue.

"What about a sustained magical attack on the shield? I've had it work on other opponents before. If someone with enough power... or a tandem attack happens on magical shields, it's been shown to um... take them down..."

[witchy_prue]

"That could work," Prue said, nodding. "And once the shield was down I bet a simple spell could break the curse."
