I couldn't disagree more - for one there is NO way any keeper was going to save Germany's penalties they were just too good. And yes though Argentina were understandably pissed off at losing it doesn't mean one of their players can kick one of the German players in the privates (as apparently happened, starting the fight) - of course if some of the German players were taking the piss when they won that was wrong too but still...Argentina screwed up their substitutions I feel and only have themselves to blame for losing. Germany like most World Cup hosts are punching above their weight with the support they're getting. That said, I don't mind who wins out of them and Italy.

Penalty shootout is probably to Germany's advantage, though I think Gianluigi Buffon is an amazing goalkeeper, so if it were him, maybe he'd have saved a few. I hope Italy vs Germany won't have to go into penalties though... >_
