(I just googled Winterhalter= drool!) Thank you, I appreciate that :)

Thank you for recommending SDI way back, I'm really sad the Jane Austen Ball is already sold out :(
I saw your friend (But didn't get a chance to introduce myself) I really loved her white gown+red sash!

You ladies both look so beautiful! I adore your gown-- the color, the cut, the skill needed to make such a gorgeous thing, all of it! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, I am glad you enjoy the pictures. I shall pass on your compliments to Alex as well :)

I can't take 100% credit, I had a lot of help fitting the dress from one of my classmates and teacher.

Oh, these are INCREDIBLE. That dress is fabulous! I had no idea is was so close to complete! And what perfect timing of an event that you got to wear it to! My dear, you are so talented, you just blow me away.

Incredible enough to tempt you into painting me sometime? *poke, poke* Lol

Yes, it had to be pretty much complete by the photo-shoot on the 14th. I cheated though and only safety pinned the hem in place (Model was 3" taller than me) So then all I had to finish was hemming it, some undies and the headdress. It would have been easier if I hadn't had Homework... :)

I'm going to be wearing it at Dickens as well (With long sleeves) Probably the 18th, any chance I'll see you there??

ARG I've been painting my teacup calendar like a mad person all month. I haven't forgotten about the fan, I just keep looking at it and thinking, should I try to paint this with the paper on the wood, or should I take it off? It would be easier if I take it off, but I kind of think I would never get it back on again. I'm not worried about the painting itself- its the deconstructing and reconstructing of the fan that worries me. I keep imagining doing this lovely painting and then completely effing up trying to glue the thing back together. Or that after I glue it, the fan will be so stiff it will no longer fold shut.

Do you mean the Dickens Fair in SF? I was just thinking about that today!

Just do which ever seems the easist/least effort for you. If you mess it up it's seriously no big deal. I don't remember where I got the fan, but I couldn't have paid more than a $1 for it. Also no rush! Tea cup calender comes first!

Yes SF dickens, I plan to meet up with the group I went with last year, but you are totally welcome :)
