Thanks! I am really excited to get working on my 1840s outfit again. I am much more excited about this project than the 18th century linen dress.

Do it! :) I read somewhere that a lot of people used striped ticking because it looks period and the cording is easier if you follow the stripes. I already had the striped duck (from a pair of pants) and figures why not?

I once saw a poka-dot hoop skirt, I want one of those next :)
