Oooh, how gorgeous! I love the floating modesty panel. I've only tried fixed ones before, and am usually too lazy to include one (which is kind of a bad habit...) I may have to try that tutorial next...

Thanks!
So far I am rather liking it, I have not tried wearing it yet but for the photos it was nice.
It's not really much of a tutorial sadly. I found it easiest to just lay the corset over the panel, and mark where the laces needed to pass though, then make the grommets 3/4 of an inch apart.

Eh, that works too. ;) Sometimes just seeing it all laid out makes things easy. I tend to find beautifully constructed clothing and just stare at the seams. It...helps. And is neurotic. Or something...

Did you want a floating modesty panel? It is just a small modification to get a larger gap for it.

idk, it might be kind of cool because I could go with an open back look for less formal occasions. If you feel like the challenge then go for it, if not, I'm not attached to it either way. Sorry about the un-helpfulness of this answer *sheepish*

:) I kind of want too! Either way we have until after your next fitting to worry about it.

*face palm* I was just looking at one of the photos above and noticed I laced it wrong in one spot. I went under in stead of over :/
