wow... this is just gorgeous. i am completely in awe! i need a new 1860s corset so badly, but i'm scared of taking the plunge!

I was really scared of this corset too- honestly the hardest part is the fitting, I was using crappy mock-up fabric and it came out differently in final fabric. I think if you had someone to help fit you it could be a breeze! Also, fuze/seal the gores before to slash them, it makes it so much easier to sew!!!

Thanks! I feels so good to have this corset done, it has been haunting me (Through two moves) since last December!!

Hopefully soon it will be off to a new home!
