Absolutely gorgeous! Well done.

It is nice and shiny. And Satin can be a right pain to work with as any bit of dirt or dust will attach itself to the satin.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it.

This satin was not as bad as I worried it would be. I'v handled (but not sewn) duchess satin before and I assumed it would be like that because of the weight. It wasn't, because of the cotton backing woven into the coutil it didn't curl or anything. It did fray a lot though.

Satin really has it's own magnetic force doesn't it? :)

Thanks! I took pictures of the smock as soon as I finished, to minimize wrinkling it might get sitting around.
