How I FEEEEEL about this character:
I LOVE ROY MUSTANG A WHOLE LOT (maybe not as much as Riza, but okay, I STILL LOVE HIM). Early on in canon, because I'm silly like that and was reading it all SO FAST I was duped by Arakawa into believing he really was what he seemed: THE JERKISEST OF JERKS, specially after the Maria thing, whereupon I HATED HIM. Soon he revealed himself to be neither a womanizer (SO DEVOTED TO ELIZABETH), nor a terrible angsty manpainy ambitious and ~morally grey~ person. Then I REALLY LOVED HIM. I love his dreams and I love how much of a dork he is, and I love how much he cares!
Even when I was busy looking suspiciously at him ( as I do at most morally grey characters in media, who are just, you know, JERKS) he was sneaking to read in that little room, falling asleep with a book, and being just adorbs with Hayate! ADD TO THAT BACKSTORY and his intense love for Riza Hawkeye, and it's really hard not to like this guy.

How I FEEEEEL about this character:
Oh gosh, he's such a jerk with a heart of gold, so of course I loved him. (I'm sorry, that's apparently what happens when you get back into fandom because of Rumiko Takahashi). ANYWAY, some of my favourite things about him are how much he tries not to show he has all the feelings, that FROWNY FACE, the fact that he's a writer and that's how he helps save the day, and that he totally loves that duck.
All the people I ship romantically with this character:
That would be Ahiru, and, uh, Duck, and uh, Ahiru. A multishipper I am not, except perhaps in terms of how many ships I'm clearly capable of shipping intensely.
My non-romantic OTP for this character (BFFs, mentors, etc):MYTHO I suppose?? That was an interesting relationship to say the least, and it was one of the Mytho and Fakir moments that made me realise that Princess Tutu was really more than it seemed and worth every second of my time. ( ( ... )
