Late, I know, but as soon as NaNo finished, December began, and it's been quite busy so far!

My word count at the end of November was: 39,552, according to the NaNoWriMo website.

So I didn't "win," but I wrote nearly 40,000 words in 30 days--probably about 2/3 of the novel, plotwise.

The halfway mark, only 8 months into the year. Maybe I'll actually get all of the books on this list read. :)

This was a difficult, absorbing book--so full of ideas that I often had to take a few days' break between chapters or sections in order to assimilate what I'd already read.

Probably the couple of hours I spent surfing Wikipedia and linked medical journals researching three drugs (two of them military-grade items) that were used on a character in Numb3rs, so that I could get the remaining side effects correct. :-D
