2007 Fic Year in Review

2007 Fic Year In ReviewI wasn't planning to post this until after the New Year, on the theory that I might get something else finished and posted by then. I now realize that's not going to happen; even if the current fic (a holdover Numb3rs story from September *g*) gets done this coming weekend, it wouldn't be beta'd in time to be a 2007 story. Wow, that's a lot of fic. I haven't had a chance to go through all of this, but I thought you'd want to know that at least some of the links at the top are not working (haven't tried anything like all of them, yet, so not sure if they're all afflicted or not).

Okay! Thank you for the tip-off; someday I will remember that while LJ's "preview" features will tell me if it doesn't like my user tags, it doesn't know that it can't handle "special quotation marks" from my word processor here at work. *sigh*

Oh, and: fixed! All of them, I think. :-)

Yay! Oh, and thanks for the pimp! *beams*

Dude, that one of cesario's with Luna and young Dumbledore? Dude! Duuuuude! *flails incoherently*

Also, I rather like the Percy deathfic, for some reason.

I dunno, I liked the Percy fic, but then I'm okay with fratricide. :)

Hee! It was just weird; deathfic'll write, but fratricide and partner betrayal make me cringe and I won't read them, so writing one was...an experience, thank you. *g*

Glad you liked it, anyway. I was surprised at how easy it was to write.

I cringe at partner betrayal too, which is why I never got into Journeyman. Killing family members, though, I'm on that like angst on Hamlet.

Would you say it was...suspiciously easy? ^._.^

Buh? I've seen almost all of this show (I think I missed one episode in the middle somewhere), and I don't recall any partner betrayal. There were some unfortunate words and moments exchanged between various parties, but nobody has compromised their marriage or anything, much less something that I would actually call "betrayal."

Now I want to know your thoughts! :-)

*dies* Best. Description. Ever. *saves in brain for future use*

I just recently heard this song for the first time, and fell in love with it instantly. With every bit of it. And now I want to hear more of Kansas' music.

I was wondering. We'll have to talk, because I have my own nostalgic/visceral reaction to the song. :-)

Must. Discuss.

And now I want to hear more of Kansas' music.

You got a phonograph handy? 'Cause that will give you the historical listening experience. ;-)

Well, technically, I heard it at ComiCon, because the Supernatural panel had what was basically a music vid done by the production team to that song. :-) But yeah, it's only been recently that I've heard it without distractions, and that's when I fell for it (though its tie to the Winchesters in the "Salvation" recap didn't hurt AT ALL).
