Lately, it seems that more and more people on both factions are making Scarlet Crusade guilds and trying to pass them off as being a good-aligned 'awakening' or redemption or some nonsense like that

Lol, /seriousmode now, at least you're getting RP on your server? You should have your toon RP a REAL scarlet and sit and nerdrage at them for doing it wrong. Bonus points if it's a naked gnome XD

I'm currently leveling a rogue who used to be a Scarlet before she died (it's a long story involving a death knight losing her powers once the Lich King died and having to resort to thievery and street thug antics to survive, so to speak). She's getting better but she's still violently psychotic, extremely xenophobic (she can count the nonhumans she hasn't seriously considered killing on one hand), and has a nasty habit of suffering breakdowns if she spends too much time in or around Stratholme.

She's also going to start a witch hunt for Scarlets in and around Stormwind and giving their heads to the emissary at the Cathedral.

Scarlet Crusade RPers make me /headdesk.  And that's just the ones who actually try to do it right.

I've only ever seen a couple times where the "redemption of Scarlet Crusade" has ever come up as an issue, and it's always been one of those cases where some Alliance fans want more stuff for the Alliance to pwn the Horde with. That's always enough to warrent a /facepalm.
