Not only have I been given the chance to read something hot yet hilarious, you have done something no NC-17 fic has ever done, and given me wonderful inspiration on a paper that explores the world of feminist ethics and dominant/submissive roles in a "traditional" male/female relationship.

Oooooh man, I've got so much to say about D/s roles right now, it isn't even funny. PLEASE feel free to PM me if you'd like to put up with any of my rantings and ravings about it. It was actually a very serious conversation about that subject with a male friend of mine that indirectly spawned this whole 'verse, and I'm kind of using it as a way to explore some of the themes and concepts that conversation brought up. Much of what I have wrote was spurned on by what originally was a crack conversation with two of my friends in same-sex relationships and my disgust over the fact that women are expected to be predominatly submissive in male-female ones. Whose also an angry feminist. I'm an angry feminist. Glad to know another! I am very much in need of a rant as well...

There's a certain degree of conflict within Chris at this point, because even though he's been aware of his leanings for a while, this really is the first chance he's had to put them into practice. It'd be intimidating enough if it were in the context of someone he was romantically involved with, but the unconventional circumstances at play here have him slightly more on edge. He genuinely is sexually dominant, but he's still working on the sexual confidence needed to put it completely into action. Like I said on your other comment - he's a baby!dom, but he grows up pretty fast.

There's also a bit of my own personal philosophy on domming in there, but that's a whole other matter that will be addressed in my post-'verse rant about sexuality and humor and communication and all sorts of other lovely topics.
