First, two things I would like to point out:
1. Why is it that she finally refers to him as "Greg" in such a shitty situation???

2. Trolol. YOU CAN NEVER GO BACK doesn't exactly fit with "I want things to go back to the way they were before we started dating."

The more I hear about the season finale, the more I begin to believe that LE's departure was planned. This whole thing just reeks of disaster. I think that they added 23 on so they could throw in some dramatic situation to make Cuddy leave. If FOX/ NBCU made it clear to TPTB that LE was going to get shit and wasn't going to be kept on, they could have easily written 23 to get rid of her. Also, if LE's contract was somehow tied to the end of the season originally (ie when 22 aired) that could explain why she made her announcement the VERY NEXT DAY. (Just sayin...)
