Except that if Cuddy's character doesn't return for the next season, the "you can never go back" and "Moving on" could be about her ; they apparently shooted an episode 23 who wasn't planned . I'm afraid they added this one just to explain Cuddy's departure :(

Your theory would make sense if House were leaving, i.e he can't cope with just being friends. Something makes her leave OR we are going to be left with the shittest open ending ever & they will slap in some crappy explaination in the S8 premiere.

I'm so depressed about all this, luckily Bones cheered me up :D
