i just want trading spaces/while you were out/clean sweep/SOMEONE to come to my house, repaint everything, and save me the trouble of picking out colors. but instead, i am begging you all to help. i have already used all my favorite colors on our new room/the kitchen, and my creativity is all puttered out. A girl I used to work with painted a smaller room in her house a chocolate brown. It literally looked like a Hershey's chocolate bar and you almost felt like you could lick the wall (lickable wallpaper? LOL). But lickable walls in a bathroom might be creepy. ::giggle::
i've always been a fan of burgundy/wine rooms and my mom did an INCREDIBLE job of sponge-painting and rag-painting. You could do a dark color and and a lighter color over it and it will just add so much texture and life to your walls. http://www.fauxfun.com/Videos/SpongePaint/SpongeIndex.html
