I need to write. It's been a long time, and I need to get back to it. I've been very depressed ever since the election and all the stuff that's happened subsequently. The person that I had wanted to be president more than any other candidate I've had the ability to vote for, lost to a monster who is making me embarrassed to be an American. I'm not

Thanks for the help with Winter, btw.
Miss you!

Hugs to you and Scott and best to the girls.

I'll gladly talk to you about Watchmen, as well. My feelings on it are complex...
Hugs to both of you, as well. Hopefully our paths will cross in the not too distant future?

As for Watchmen, wait for it... there's really nothing of Moore's that I do like. Being someone that worked in a comic store for 14 years, I'm not sure I'm allowed to say that, but I really just never found his stuff that big a deal. I read Watchmen as it came out, when it was collected and then 20 years later when the movie was coming. Nope. We all have our opinions. :"D
I hope to come visit my sister again this year. If possible, I would love to see you two again!

I feel bad that I was the one who has caused you the most angst in the last four months; i meant well and truly believe you were perfect for the job (I am convinced they were scared of your back) I stand by being one of the cheerleaders saying the job would be perfect for you. I feel bad that you felt you had to stay with the show even though you weren't happy - I should have done more for you - because as I've said before and I'll say again couldn't have done it without you.
More than anything though thanks for the last two weeks - you went above and beyond as you always do and thank you from the bottom of my heart

I just saw Beauty and the Beast for the second time today. I would gladly see it again though! (Scott might not be thrilled if I do...)
But more than anything, I'd love to spend some time with you when things are more okay than not. Wanna do dinner sometime soon?

I 100% feel you on the depression thing--mine has been awful since November and I have no coping mechanisms for it. My regular depression is such a different animal than something that is REAL and ACTUALLY HAPPENING IN THE WORLD that I can't figure out how to handle it.
I have not seen either of the movies you talked about here, so I have no opinion on that, but I will say that I've been thinking about you a lot and I'm glad you're doing as well as can be expected and I love you ♥

I'm actually surprised you haven't seen Logan yet! (Not the least bit surprised you haven't seen The Great Wall) I'd say you can miss it, but then, no one seems to agree with me...
I've been thinking of you as well! I've finally gotten caught up on Worst Bestsellers, so that helps me miss you even more. And I loved both books that you recommend! So good!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I miss and love you too! ❤

I loved Logan, but more because it was Hugh Jackman's last Wolverine movie. A fitting and unusual Marvel film for his last. I think the body count was higher than John Wick, how is that even possible? I totally get your feelings on the film, but I liked it a lot.
Hey, I have never posted on here before, but I read your stuff. This is Britta, btw.

LJ were jerks and posted you as a "suspicious comment." So I didn't see it until just now, sorry! (Not that you will likely see my reply).
I wish I could've gotten to D.C. For the march! That is so cool! We've made donations to several causes, but that's about it. I want to do more, I have ideas, but so far not the time to act on them.
Thank you for reading! I hope our paths cross soon. It's been way too long since I last saw you!
